Job Summary : Inventory finish chemicals and order and receive Finish Chemicals through SAP. Weigh and mix batch chemicals to be used for topical treatments.
Tools and Equipment used : Scales, stainless steel pail, computer
Essential Functions : Perform the following duties according to ISO 9001 work instructions and
standards :
- Inventory finish chemicals
- Order and receive Finish Chemicals through SAP
- Weigh and mix batch chemicals to be used for topical treatments
- Work with all shifts to determine what chemicals should be available for use during off shifts.
- Assist with unload of Latex tanker truck
- Recycle latex captured at the Ranges
- Clean totes and prepare for pick-up
- Conduct the following tests as necessary :
- Check PH and chlorine content of water supply
- Check chemicals to ensure that a new chemical matches the existing standard before using in production; maintain COA for shipment
- Work with Chemical Engineer to reformulate formulas - to evaluate and improve existing production for better quality and cost.
- Maintain good housekeeping
- Maintain SDS sheets for all Finishing chemicals
- Work scheduled overtime.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
