Description
Job Summary :
Assist with upkeep of plant property and equipment. Ear protection in high noise areas, safety belt, gloves, goggles, and other equipment needed to perform the job safely.
Essential Functions :
- Perform the following duties according to ISO 9001 work instructions and standards :
- Install, repair, and wire a variety of electrical and electronic equipment and controls related to production and building equipment (including motors, relays, circuit breakers, machine / process controls / circuits, and alarm / communication systems.
- Diagnose problems and replace / repair defective parts.
- Maintain / replace / repair HVAC controls.
- Install wiring, conduit, and switches during remodeling and construction.
- Maintain personal work habits, which meet the demands and stresses of the job.
- Meet deadlines and production quotas.
- Get along with co-workers.
- Follow instructions.
- Work scheduled overtime.
- Maintain personal attendance practices to meet established company goals.
- Perform other duties as needed to complete the job or as assigned by the supervisor.
- Clean up after each maintenance activity using good housekeeping standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
