Swimming Pool Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The Pool Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing pools to ensure they are safe and functional for our clients.

Qualifications:

• If you don't have pool experience, that's ok, so long as you have a strong work ethic, an attention to detail, an appetite for learning, and a positive attitude, we can teach you the pool service trade
• Must have availability to work at least 5 days a week
• Need to 18 years of age or over and have had a clean driving record
• Must be capable of lifting to 50 lbs
• Can complete physical labor in the Albuquerque heat and weather
• Excellent customer relationship building and communication is a must
• Must have a positive attitude and work well independently while exhibiting team-oriented behaviors
• Those that love working outside and have experience in pool service, lawn care, landscaping, painting, construction, pest control, cleaning, general labor and janitorial are encouraged to apply

Benefits/Compensation:

• Starts at $14.00 per hour, possibly more with the right mix of experience and qualifications Wage advance quickly with quality work, good communication, professionalism, and being a good team player
• Weekly $50 discretionary bonus for perfect attendance, having no client complaints or client announced green pools, and accurately recording water chemistry readings within the prescribed testing time periods
• Opportunity to earn other discretionary bonuses and rewards Work week expected 15-40 hours Over 40 hours paid at time and a half
• Week of Christmas off
• No overnight work
• Paid training Company vehicles, gas, insurance, equipment, and uniforms with chemicals and supplies located on-site
• Start time between 6:0am and 8:00 am, your choice

Responsibilities

• Pool Technician Responsibilities Check water chemistry and balance pool water through the addition of the appropriate chemicals
• Maintain pool cleanliness by brushing, vacuuming, netting, cleaning tiles, and emptying baskets of debris
• Perform minor repairs and minor programming of pool equipment
• Develop and nurture customer relationships
• Document your visit in the company app and by leaving a door tag report for clients

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.71 - $21.79 per hour
