The Associate, Podcast Partnerships will support the day-to-day operations, execution, and optimization of podcast advertising campaigns, assisting with media planning, performance tracking, reporting, and partner communication.

Reporting to the Head of Media, this role will play a critical part in ensuring seamless collaboration between brands, creators, networks, and internal teams. Responsibilities include campaign execution, ad trafficking, performance analysis, and partnership coordination, ensuring that all campaigns launch on time, run smoothly, and deliver strong results.

The ideal candidate is passionate about the creator economy, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has strong communication and analytical skills.

This is an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience in media buying, creator partnerships, and performance marketing—with a clear growth path to Partnerships Manager or Media Buyer.

Campaign Execution & Operations

• Support the end-to-end execution of podcast ad campaigns, including ad trafficking, performance reporting, and partnership communication.
• Assist in preparing Insertion Orders (IOs), tracking internal deliverables, and maintaining campaign documentation.
• Ensure smooth campaign launches by coordinating asset delivery, product shipments, tracking air-checks, and confirming ad placements.

Partner & Client Coordination

• Facilitate communication between podcast hosts, creators, networks, and internal teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
• Support onboarding new podcast partners, ensuring a smooth introduction into the Valenz Media ecosystem.
• Monitor brand messaging and creative execution, providing partners with feedback and guidance to maintain brand alignment.

Data & Performance Analytics

• Track and analyze campaign performance, identifying key trends and optimization opportunities.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to measure campaign success and provide strategic recommendations for our clients.

Billing & Financial Coordination

• Work closely with finance and billing teams to process invoices, manage payments, and reconcile billing.

Industry Research & Growth Strategy

• Conduct competitive research and proactively identify new partnership opportunities within the podcasting and creator economy.
• Evaluate new media opportunities across podcasts, YouTube, and social media to maximize brand reach.

• Strong communication & relationship-building skills – Exceptional written and verbal communication with the ability to build and maintain relationships with podcast hosts, creators, networks, and internal teams.
• Highly organized & detail-oriented – Ability to manage multiple campaigns, track deliverables, and ensure seamless execution without missing key details.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets & Excel – Strong analytical skills with experience in tracking campaign performance, organizing data, and generating insights.
• Self-starter with an ownership mindset – Takes initiative, proactively solves problems, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Strong time management skills – Comfortable pivoting, prioritizing, and executing in a dynamic, evolving work environment.
• Passion for the podcast & creator economy – Deep interest in modern media, podcasts, YouTube, advertising, creator partnerships, and performance marketing.
