As the Security Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for the implementation of security measures and monitoring the effectiveness of IT controls for security. You’ll raise the level of security awareness among employees, work to assess the business units for security, work with external vulnerability assessments and auditor activities, and assist with security policies, activities, standards, and mitigation of information security risks.
Things You’ll Do Here:
- Keep SOC 2 evidence up to date, maintain SOC 2 compliance, and work with auditors to maintain SOC 2 certification.
- Keep HITRUST evidence up to date, maintain HITRUST compliance, and work with auditors to maintain HITRUST certification.
- Build and maintain Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Program, conduct tabletop and live exercises with IT and business leaders.
- Track enterprise compliance across implemented Security Frameworks including NIST, SOC, HITRUST.
- Respond to client and third-party security risk assessment requests, coordinating with necessary internal resources to thoroughly and accurately complete. Log each request with the requester’s name and date, and track the time required to complete.
- Conduct risk assessments on our third parties.
- Work with other Security Assurance Analysts to collaborate on IT projects to make sure that security policies are followed and that risk issues are being appropriately addressed.
- Partner with IT Service Operations in the development of security and privacy awareness training with third-party vendor.
- Perform Security Assurance related duties as assigned by supervisor.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- 5 years of experience in information security, network security, and/or IT compliance role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, detailed, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience working independently with strong time management and organization skills.
- Strong aptitude for relationship building with a highly effective communication style.
- Experience with NIST, ISO, SOC 2 and/or HITRUST programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or a certification in CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CCNP, CISM or other equivalents.
- Experience with HIPAA.

- Work Environment: You’ll need a quiet workspace that is free from distractions.
- Technology: Reliable internet connection—if you can use streaming services, you’re good to go!
- Security: Adherence to company security protocols, including the use of VPNs, secure passwords, and company-approved devices/software.
- Location: You must be US based, in a location where you can work effectively and comply with company policies such as HIPAA.
