As a Senior Financial Analyst at Vālenz, you will play a crucial role in providing insightful financial analysis and strategic guidance to support the company's growth objectives. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, developing forecasts, identifying trends, and providing actionable recommendations to senior leadership. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.`
Things You’ll Do Here:
- Financial Planning and Forecasting
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to forecast company performance.
- Assist with the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to align financial plans with organizational goals.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting
- Provide insightful analysis of financial results, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs), to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Craft and enhance visibility of relevant KPIs necessary to measure business performance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and variances highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to support special projects and business decisions.
- Strategic Planning and Decision Support:
- Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate new business opportunities, assess financial implications, and provide recommendations to senior leadership.
- Partner with business unit leaders to develop financial strategies that drive growth, optimize resources, and maximize profitability.
- Identify areas for cost optimization, efficiency improvements, and revenue enhancement through data-driven analysis and financial modeling.
- Establish best practices, standardize processes, and implement tools to streamline FP&A operations and improve efficiency
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in a Financial Analyst role with an FP&A focus.
- Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software (e.g., NetSuite, Hyperion, PowerBI, Tableau).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
- Industry experience: Private company, health insurance, healthcare solutions, or similar.
