What You Will Do

• You will maintain tools to ensure daily QCDM (quality, cost and delivery) requirements are met

• You will develop and manage the tooling maintenance budget

• You will lead all Tooling TPM activity to include: sourcing material/components, production scheduling, PM plans and documentation

• You will lead continuous improvement / Kaizen activities (define/improve tool standards, generate Lessons Learned cards)

• You will create and manage timelines to ensure each milestone through tooling development and repair is respected on new and existing molds.

• You will analyze new product designs with R&D in order to ensure “Design for manufacturing” is integrated into new molds / tooling

• You will be involved in Molding FMEA, control plans, SPPC definition, and tolerances application

• You will investigate design to cost solutions, identify improvement in part to simplify the machining of tools, optimize molding conditions and reduce cost

• You will define mold features, size and injection molding machine

• You might validate 3D mold designs, analyze Moldflow simulation results, and implement solutions in new molds

• You will handle other responsibilities as directed by your N 1

What You Should Have

• You should have an Associate’s degree in a technical field, but experience in lieu of education will be strongly considered

• You have 5 years of engineering experience with injection mold tooling

• You have 5 years of management level experience in the injection mold tooling industry

• You should have experience with design software and GD&T principles
