About the Role:
- Responsible to coordinate the creation and the maintenance of the Quality System with regards to Valeo Quality Management system, IATF 16949 requirements, etc.
- Organize Quality System Audits in accordance with the Audit schedule
- Support readiness to ISO, IATF, VDA, customer (re-)certification audits and accordingly perform adequate pre-audits
- Perform any other internal audits (Process audits – project audits, StEDE…) allowing to detect and highlight discrepancies vs. the standard
- Prepare the Quality System Management review – providing deployment status to the management staff
- Train people on process audit and certify them as assistant Product Quality Assurance (PQA) auditors and train internal ISO/TS auditors.
- Ensure Internal Procedure/Policy are in line with Customer and Automotive industry requirement
- Coordinate Incident Management System Activity
- Perform Quality reporting (Reliability, coherence, transparency)
- Organize self-assessments & pre-audits for customer audits (MMOG, Supplier Health Check, QSB etc.)
- Ensure Customer Scorecards are properly maintained
- Develop, tune and set process automation stations to improve efficiency and quality performances plus flow management improvement and ergonomic workstations
- Prepare specifications for machines, supervise new machines start- up, responsible for APU’s organisation in compliance with health and safety as well as quality rules
- Implement Plant industrial plan / prepare the engineering investments (IAR’s)
- Assess and make reception of process stations
- Responsible for stations process development schedule in line with CLEAN
- Respect and ensure respect of safety and Valeo Production System rules and guidelines during the process development.
- Improve the TRP of equipments supporting the improvement of the performance.
- Propose and implement Continuous Improvement ideas, working in Cycle Time reduction of automated cells, focusing on bottlenecks.
- Responsible for all quality and process related documentation
- Alert the managers when standards are not met.
- Ensure the lines have the necessary equipment and spares to avoid downtime
- Work on connection of PLCs to Manufacturing Execution System, with error codes management & traceability features implementation.
What You Should Have:
- You have a Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, or experience in lieu of a formal degree.
- You have a minimum of 3 years experience in lean manufacturing practices
- You should have automotive industry experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment
