Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the dental office, ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulations.
- Supervise and train staff members, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
- Oversee fiscal management, including budgeting, billing, and financial reporting.
- Ensure accurate patient records management using software such as Open Dental.
- Maintain knowledge of dental terminology to assist in patient care and communication with dental professionals.
- Coordinate patient scheduling and ensure optimal patient flow within the office.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance patient satisfaction.
- Implement office policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
Skills
- Proficient in medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Strong supervisory skills with experience in managing a team effectively.
- Knowledge of fiscal management principles in a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with acute care practices as they relate to dental health.
