Control Systems Engineer

**Job Summary**

This position requires a highly skilled and experienced engineer to maintain and troubleshoot the Honeywell DCS system. The successful candidate will provide daily control systems support to assigned operating units, interface with operations and process engineering groups, and develop and implement process control schemes and control techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and maintain DCS (Honeywell TDC 3000 & Experion) including control schemes, graphics, and tags.

• Provide daily control systems support to assigned operating units.

• Interface with operations and process engineering groups.

• Develop and implement process control schemes and control techniques.

• Perform alarm reviews with operations to support corporate alarm rationalization program.

• Support project engineers with project funding, execution, and control scheme development.

• Maintain and support advanced process control program and communicate performance to process engineering and operations.

• Develop and maintain control related documentation.

• Work with instrumentation maintenance personnel to troubleshoot plant issues.

• Effectively presents information and respond to questions from operations, maintenance personnel, and management.

• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

• Ability to read and interpret company policies, regulatory guidelines, and other work-related documentation.

• Ability to abide by confidentiality requirements when working with sensitive information, results, and communications.

• Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal methods.

• Ability to accomplish work within required timelines, including short, long, and emergency timeframes.

• Basic skill using Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Word and Excel).
