Refinery Electrical Specialist

Job Description

This electrical engineer lead position is critical to the success of Valero's refining operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering teams in the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems that support refinery operations.
• Develop and execute electrical engineering plans, specifications, and estimates for capital projects.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices in electrical engineering.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in electrical distribution, industrial cogeneration, and large project execution.
• Prior experience in a refining or petrochemical environment is highly valued.
