Vali is currently seeking candidates for the Human Resources (HR) Manager position. The HR Manager will provide overall management and direction to the HR staff and will serve as the primary focal point for management on HR-related issues. The HR Manager responsibilities include onboarding, retention, resume and file maintenance, job title compliance, corporate benefits, and labor relations.
Responsibilities:
• Provides labor relations expertise with Service Contract Act (SCA) and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) employees.
• Plans, conducts, and coordinates the development and administration of HR programs in functions such as employment, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, unemployment insurance, both CONUS and OCONUS.
• Analyzes wage and salary data to determine the company's compensation framework and maintenance of job titles.
• Partners closely with vendors to administer cost-effective employee benefit plans.
• Establishes, evaluates, and implements HR policies and practices coupled with effective employee communication processes.
• Provides reporting of records to OFCCP, DOL, EEOC, and other agencies required by law or local governing bodies.
• Develops compensation plans, coordinates training programs, analyzes and recommends benefit changes, prepares and administers EEO-1 and Affirmative Action Programs and similar tasks.
• Uses the HR module of Deltek Costpoint.
• Supervises HR Generalists
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related corporate HR field or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 10 years of HR experience in business operations with a DOD technical services contractor.
• Experience providing reporting of records to support audits by OFCCP, DOL, EEOC, and other agencies required by law or local governing body.
• Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• Experience using Deltek Costpoint.
• SPHR or SHRM certification is desired.
• Experience in negotiating with Union Representatives is desired.
