The Reliability Specialist is responsible for the planning and coordination of dismantles of ESP equipment and repair, performing and/or supporting the dismantle, as well as documenting thoroughly all observations and activities in the tear down logbook.

Summary
The Reliability Specialist is responsible for the planning and coordination of dismantles of ESP equipment and repair, performing and/or supporting the dismantle, as well as documenting thoroughly all observations and activities in the tear down logbook.
Essential Functions
- Coordinate DIFA activities to ensure the most complete and efficient process, in accordance with standard operating procedures, and customer expectations. This includes managing customer scheduling, coordinating with warehouse/inventory to ensure equipment is located and staged in preparation for dismantle
- Provide exceptional customer service to external customers, as well as to the Reliability Manager and internal team(s)
- Send documentation to management and answer questions as appropriate. Forward complex issues to the Reliability Manager
- Participate in departmental meetings to discuss the relevance of the findings during the dismantles to provide appropriate root cause analysis
- Prepare equipment for dismantle according to established standard operating procedures
- Take notes, collect samples, if applicable, take measurements of the dismantled equipment (stages, shafts, bushings, etc. and maintain a teardown log updating daily to maintain accurate records
- Assure that the shop area (floors, teardown tables, etc.) is clean before start of work at end of work shift so that no injury is suffered by personnel or damages to equipment as the result of poor housekeeping; assure proper care and maintenance of tools
- Provide on-the-job training to less experienced reliability technicians
- Serve as lead for technical questions and troubleshooting
- Comply with Company policy and procedures, whether written or communicated verbally, including the instructions and directions from individuals in direct supervisory positions
- Forklift training preferred
- Dismantle inspection failure analysis (DIFA) experience required
- Basic hand tool proficiency
- Knowledge of hazardous and non-hazardous materials storage
- Intermediate computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to use a camera and possess an understanding of SD cards
- Knowledge of downloading images and uploading into documents is required Attention to detail is required
- Intermediate written communication skills
