Job Description:
Valiant Harbor International is seeking an S&T Coordinator: to support and oversee scientific and technical efforts within the Office of Naval Research (ONR). The role requires leadership skills, experience in research disciplines, and a thorough understanding of ONR and Naval Research Enterprises' organizational structure. The ideal candidate will manage processes, guide the development of S&T technology, and provide support to senior government executives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in managing S&T efforts for the Code 341/342 programs within the Naval Research Enterprise.
- Oversee and guide the development of S&T technology, including close coordination with ONR program officers and science advisors.
- Lead initiatives for process improvement, workshops, and other activities to foster teamwork and enhance program effectiveness.
- Synthesize and analyze technical materials to provide clear summaries and insights for senior executives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor on S&T programs, particularly in the areas of Life Science, Social Science, and Human-Systems Integration.
- Collaborate with government senior executives, offering timely and effective support as needed.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive the success of S&T technology development and ensure alignment with the NRE's goals.

Job Requirements:
- Must have a current TS-SCI Clearance or the ability to obtain a TS-SCI clearance prior to award.
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) with five (5) years of relevant work experience, or a Master’s Degree plus ten (10) years of relevant work experience in one of the following research disciplines: Life Science (e.g., biology, physiology, neuroscience), Social Science (e.g., psychology), or a domain related to Human-Systems Integration or related science.
- Expertise in managing S&T programs within the Department of Defense (DoD) or Department of Navy (DON).
- Demonstrated understanding of the organizational structure and functions of the Naval Research Enterprise (NRE), including the roles of ONR program officers and science advisors in S&T technology development.
- Proven leadership, interpersonal, organizational, communication, and analytical skills, with experience in process improvement initiatives and workshop management.
- Ability to manage and synthesize complex technical materials, summarizing key information effectively for senior executives.
- Recent experience providing support to Government Senior Executives.
Desired Additional Qualifications:
- DAWIA certification or Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FAC-P/PM) certification or commercially available Project Management Certification (PMP).
- Prior Department of Defense (DoD) or Department of Navy (DON) experience.
- Five (5) years of experience in developing and supporting Navy S&T programs.
Salary Range: $145-165K
