What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Monitor - Security Clearance Required position at Valiant Integrated Services?
DUTIES :
Monitors and controls access to Classified Facilities.
Carries out instructions primarily oriented toward ensuring that emergencies and security violations are readily discovered and reported to appropriate authority.
Intervenes directly only in situations which require minimal action to safeguard property.
Maintain and update journal entries for daily activities as required.
Access computer database to determine security eligibility.
Maintain constant surveillance of security monitors.

QUALIFICATIONS :
Required Experience :
High School Diploma.
General computer skills.
Currently possess a Secret Clearance and approved for access to government computers.
Desired Experience :
Military or civilian experience in jobs related to security, protection of property from theft or damage.
Military or civilian experience in meeting the general public and assisting visitors by answering questions and giving directions.
Understand and recognize military rank structure.
Additional Requirements :
Must be able to travel unaccompanied to locations within the continental United States and foreign locations.
Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a Secret Clearance and access to classified information.
Will be subject to pre-employment drug testing; will be subject to random drug screening.
Must be available to work shift work (day, evening, night) and available to work weekends and holidays.
