What are the responsibilities and job description for the Role-Play Work Group Leader position at Valiant Integrated Services?
DUTIES:
Responsible to the Role-Play Operations Coordinator for the health, welfare, discipline, and execution of duties of all assigned Role Players during JRTC rotations.
- Carries out and supervises training, safety, Valiant, and applicable Fort Johnson and DoD policies and regulations.
- Ensures accountability of personnel, equipment, property and required clothing for work assignments.
- Ensures employee compliance with scheduled scripted events.
- Provides advice and direction to ensure realistic portrayal of Role Play events.
- Routinely conducts personnel evaluations on all assigned employees.
- Provide counseling to all assigned personnel.
- Routinely uses military forms and maps.
- Frequently uses mobile radio communications.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous military experience or civilian equivalent with leadership responsibilities.
- Proficient in military terminology and radio systems.
- Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays without limitations or restrictions.
- Must be able to certify in First Responder.
- Ability to source scenario information from news websites, newspaper, ION team, and other accounts.
- Capable to operate training area Social Media Platforms, such as X and YouTube, effectively.
Desired Experience:
- Military or civilian equivalent leadership experience working for a US Army Combat Training Center.
- Current or previous successful service as a Role Player.
- Certified as a First Responder.
- Technical expertise in Social Media platforms such as X, YouTube, ION systems, and information from handlers (SOF-KRB; RED PSYOPS, etc.)
- Ability to drive and tow a trailer in the training area.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to travel unaccompanied to US and foreign location.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening; will be subject to random testing during employment.
- Must be able to accomplish all physical Role Play employment requirements:
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be able to lift to 25 pounds
- Walk 2 miles continuously without assistance
- Walk 500 meters over uneven terrain without assistance
- Work irregular hours and shifts as needed
- Work while seated or standing for prolonged periods
