What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychotherapist position at Valiant Therapeutic Services?
Job Summary
You Found Us…Or rather We Found You. We have been looking for a person like you. Here at Valiant, we are searching for clinicians who are driven by adding value and impacting people’s lives. Our environment was created for only one purpose…to heal. Valiant Therapeutic Services is clinician-owned and led by David R. Strother, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and subject matter expert in Trauma Psychology and treatment with over 20 years of mental health experience.
Valiant Therapeutic Services is a comprehensive mental health clinic providing individual psychotherapy, group therapy, and a trauma- specific IOP (intensive outpatient) program treating active duty military service members, first responders, nurses, and veterans. Due to a high demand for our services, Valiant is currently expanding. We are looking for the right clinicians who have a desire to help these underserved groups get the mental health services they need and have earned.
Our practice is rooted in clinical and cultural competency, and as such we are looking for applicants who not only share these values, but we are also willing to train and help the right clinicians gain experience and competency necessary to effectively engage with the military and first responder community and their families.
At Valiant Therapeutic Services, we put an emphasis on care and believe that therapists should be allowed to do just that — Provide Therapy! As such, a part of joining us includes centralized support for inquiries, consultations, scheduling, client/therapist matching, insurance contracting, billing and collections. Due to our reputation in the community, our treatment successes, and our high level of clinical acumen, we are looking to add to our team with the best. That translates into an opportunity for high compensation, rewarding client load, increased autonomy, and a private practice environment unlike any other. More information about this incredible and unique program is available upon request.
