Lead DBA

Technical Lead requirement

8-10 years of relevant experience

Onsite Houston (TX) , USA

We do have urgent requirement for SQL DBA and Oracle DBA (Lead positions) at Houston location.

Oracle DBA JD:

• Design, implementation and administration of Oracle Clusterware and multi-node environment (Must)
• Good troubleshooting skills on Oracle clusterware (Must)
• Design, implementation and administration of Oracle multi-tenant architecture
• Design and implement DR plans & HA solutions and recommendations. Sound knowledge of DataGuard. This is a must on multi-node architecture. (Must)
• Good hands on experience of implementation and administration of OEM and matrix configuration (Must)
• Configuration and administration of Oracle ASM (Must)
• Hands on experience on analysis of AWR, ADDM, ASH and Query Execution plan.
• Expertise in Oracle backup and recovery including RMAN with various tools
• Patching and upgrades
• Managing and configuring Oracle services
• Expertise in Oracle basics, LISTENER configuration, TNSNAMES, and other general administration

SQL DBA JD:

• Expertise in Database Administration on Production Servers with server configuration and management with troubleshooting capabilities.
• Hands on experience in configuration and management of SQL Server High Availability and DR strategies
• Proficiency and expertise in SQL Server backup and recovery
• Expertise in user management, roles and permissions
• Hands on experience in configuring SQL Server and Windows service pack upgrades
• Hands on experience of SQL Server upgradation and migration
• Sound knowledge of DB maintenance plans and SQL server agent jobs management
• Hands on experience on SQL Server replication configuration and management
• Hands on experience in configuration and management of various SQL Server features like SSIS, SSAS, SSRS etc.
