What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Specialist position at Valicor Environmental Services LLC?
Valicor is looking for a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist to work at our Monroe, Ohio office.
Job Duties:
- Open and distribute incoming mail, via USPS or email
- Obtain required approvals on all vendor invoices
- Data entry of vendor invoices into GP software
- Reply to vendor inquiries
- Reconcile vendor statements to ensure all invoices have been received
- Obtain W-9’s where needed
- Maintain AP filing
- Assist with weekly check run
- Communicate and work with all company locations
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in accounting with relevant work experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and strong work ethic
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently or in teams
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Utilize strong interpersonal skills
