Work Schedule: Schedules will vary based on department workload
1st Shift: Monday-Thursday: 6:00am - 3:00pm & Friday: 6:00am - Noon

What you will do:
The Receiving and Inventory Associate is responsible for managing incoming deliveries to the company, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring an organized storage area. This role involves tracking the movement of parts, supplies, materials, and stock, both inbound and outbound, and ensuring all items are stored properly and efficiently. This role collaborates with team leaders and the purchasing department to ensure a seamless supply of materials, meeting production needs and preventing delays caused by inventory shortages.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage Incoming Deliveries
- Unload deliveries from trucks and inspect items for accuracy, condition, and quantity.
- Verify packing slips against purchase orders for completeness and correctness.
- Report discrepancies or issues with deliveries to the Purchasing department.

Storage and Inventory Management
- Store received items properly, ensuring accurate labeling for special orders, including job name and job number.
- Ensure that all stock items are organized and easily accessible in the storage area.
- Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Conduct monthly inventory counts across all areas.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the cage inventory area, optimizing space.
- Assist with end of year inventory.
- Monitors inventory levels of the cage and reports any ordering needs to the purchasing department.

Order Fulfillment and Coordination
- Distribute items from the stock room to various departments and individuals as requested.
- Pick and pack special order items for job-specific needs.
- Coordinate with the Service/Install Manager to ensure all hardware and special-order items are shipped with each job.
- Accurately update records for all orders and received stock to maintain a smooth flow of materials.
- All other duties assigned
What you need:
- Proven experience as a receiving clerk or in a similar role
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Proficient with computer programs for data entry and record-keeping
- Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel)
- Strong basic math skills and attention to detail for accurate record-keeping
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position including, but not be limited to the following:
- Sit, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
- Stand for extended periods of time.
- Moving, bending, standing, kneeling, lifting and carrying material weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Pushing/pulling, grasping/squeezing, pinching, fine motor dexterity.
- Exposure to high noise levels and requires wearing hearing protection in designated areas.
- Exposure to plant environment to include moving parts, fumes, dust. Safety glasses to be worn at all times.
- Endure heat and cold conditions in the plant.
