Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Coordinator to provide high-quality care for patients undergoing Bone Marrow Transplant or CAR T-cell therapy at Valley Children's Healthcare.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing care for patients, donors, and families throughout complex treatment processes, collaborating with the HBC team to optimize patient outcomes, and ensuring seamless communication among patients, families, and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Triage patient inquiries and educate patients and families about treatment options and changes.
- Collaborate with the HBC team to ensure efficient care delivery.
- Monitor and support patients throughout their treatment journey.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience, leadership abilities, and/or project management experience required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in nursing principles, clinical practice, quality, and healthcare systems required.
- Bilingual skills desirable.
Education/Licenses/Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field or equivalent experience required.
- Active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN) required.
- HeartCode Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire required.
