Valley Children's Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join its esteemed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team.
The successful candidate will be an advanced practice nurse who functions as an expert clinician, educator, leader, consultant, and researcher. In collaboration with the healthcare team, they will monitor the clinical care of patients and provide support to enhance patient outcomes.
The NICU at Valley Children's Hospital is Central California's only Regional Level IV NICU, providing the highest level of medical care for premature and critically ill newborns. Our focus on family-centered care ensures that patients have access to a range of pediatric specialists who treat complex conditions.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in nursing with a focus on Clinical Nurse Specialty and hold active licenses as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS). They must also have extensive experience working in regional or community NICUs and demonstrate proficiency in skills and knowledge required for this role.
