Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Customer Service Representative to join our team on a part-time basis (.50 FTE) in Auburn, WA. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service and a strong understanding of behavioral health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients seeking behavioral health services
- Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and coordinate services for clients
- Assist clients with completing necessary paperwork and forms
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure clients receive the appropriate care
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of behavioral health services and terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems
- Pass required background checks
Work is performed inside and outside in varying temperatures. Work is conducted within the various Valley Cities’ sites and partner sites. Employees may occasionally be required to push or lift to 25 pounds, twisting and stooping requiring upper and lower body strength. Employees may be exposed to office supply odors or vapors. Employees are sitting, most of the time. Employees are also required to stand, walk, type, bend, write, read, interpret and explain complex issues and speak on the telephone.
