Job Summary:
The Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for making sure effective Quality Management system is in place and the coordination of all continuous improvement initiatives and activities within the business. The person will work alongside the leadership team to create an effective and sustainable company culture which respect the Valley Cities’ quality policies and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new procedures and processes to document clinical standards, cross-train staff, streamline and improve workflows, etc. in partnership with Clinical Excellence Specialists team.
- Develop briefing papers and analytical reports, and/or guide report writing of others performing data analysis and program evaluation.
- Present performance evaluation, research, and data analysis findings to a broad range of stakeholders, including consumers, service providers, elected officials, board members, and legislators.
- Identify challenges and propose solutions to participating organizations in implementation of program goals.
- Coordinates and maintains internal risks/quality processes (Extraordinary Occurrence)
- Maintain a working knowledge of program data measures to track, measure, and evaluate data collection activities to continuously improve data submission.
- Provide a high level of professionalism and customer service when interfacing with participants, members, partners, contracted resources, and internal resources
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public health, behavioral health or related field with coursework in performance measurement, research methods and statistics and/or equivalent education and experience.
- Understanding of healthcare or behavioral healthcare measurement and management processes, indicators, and tools.
- Understanding of Medicaid transformation and healthcare integration.
- At least five years of experience leading design and implementation of policy-relevant performance
- Pass required background check
Experience:
- Familiarity with Office software, including Outlook and Word.
- Ability to manage and organize electronic files
- Ability to plan and organize work independently
- Ability to organize time and tasks efficiently and flexibly
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff at all levels in the organization
- Experience working as an internal evaluator and in both for profit and nonprofit setting a plus.
