Valley Craft Industries, Inc. has been designing, developing and manufacturing professional grade material handling and storage solutions in Minnesota since 1953. Our products are sold world-wide while our office locations are in Lake City and Bloomington, MN.
We are Looking For :
A driven individual to split work time between Shipping / Receiving (process daily shipment of materials and products) and Cabinet Assembly (facilitate the production of company products and custom orders).
What You'll Do :
Under the direct supervision of the department supervisor, you will ship and receive daily shipments and assemble and package daily orders.
What We Need From You
- Ability to follow written and verbal direction
- Ability to keep pace with production expectations
- Ability to use Netsuites and schedule trucks with minor assistance
- Ability to operate material handling equipment including a forklift (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, etc.)
- Ability to work independently or with a team
- High attention to detail
- Ability to inspect product for quality assurance and identify any errors
- Ability to record the accuracy of incoming shipments
- Ability to document any damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation with minor assistance
- Ability to store incoming material and supplies in correct warehouse
- Willing to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Additional duties as needed
- 0 – 3 years of related experience preferred
- Forklift Experience required
- Knowledge of metalworking industry, equipment, and processes useful
- Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, or sit for long periods of time
- Must be capable of working in inclement conditions to include extreme hot and cold temperatures
- Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs Benefits :
