Dental Assistant

Valley Dental is a growing dental practice with a special focus on total wellness & sleep dentistry. Our goal is to provide the highest level of patient care to our community while building core relationships to provide state of the art care. Currently, we are searching for a skilled dental assistant to join our wonderful team. Our Dental Assistant should posses a truly positive and outgoing personality. This position is responsible for administering day-to-day activities of the back office, including: maintaining laboratory work and chairside assisting.

Job Duties

• Greet and prepare patients in a welcoming manner
• Provide chairside assistance during a variety of treatment procedures
• Set up and breakdown for operatory procedures
• Charting during dental examinations
• Execute dental x-ray and impressions
• Preparations and sterilization of equipment and instruments
• Executes patient handoffs and monitors patient flow within the practice
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
• Perform various office tasks as necessary
• Maintain a clean, professional and positive work environment

The candidate must have the following qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Be a Team Player and willing to learn.
• Be reliable and energetic.
• Be Honest and Detail Oriented- must be able to follow instructions and document well.
• Have basic knowledge of computers.
• Dental Assistant Certification (preferred)

Job Schedule

• Monday-Friday up to 40 Hours a week

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
