Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work closely with healthcare providers in our multiple facilities. As a Medical Scribe, you will play a crucial role in documenting patient encounters, ensuring accurate and timely medical records while allowing physicians to focus on patient care.
Responsibilities
- Accurately document patient histories, physical examinations, and treatment plans during medical visits.
- Assist healthcare providers by recording pertinent information in real-time during patient encounters.
- Ensure all documentation meets legal and regulatory standards for medical records.
- Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate efficient workflow and communication within the healthcare team.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Support the healthcare team in various environments.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Medical Scribe or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical procedures related to outpatient care, emergency medicine, and medical-surgical environments is advantageous.
- Basic life support certification is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.50 - $12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
