Available Shifts:
3rd - Full-Time - 10-hour shift (paid meal period) on a rotating schedule of 8 days on, 6days off (schedule may vary during training).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing analytical testing on production samples and finished product samples to determine compliance with FDA, NYS regulations and Company standards.
- Ability to engage in analytical thinking and investigations to determine root cause of quality nonconformance issues
- Responsible for receiving trailers of bulk products and testing of raw and heat-treated dairy ingredients to determine compliance with FDA, NYS regulations and Company standards.
- Must follow all SOP procedures and complete required documentation/checklists
- Maintain area cleanliness, report leaks and/or out of spec product and participate in continuous improvement efforts
- Follow all safety requirements to include housekeeping, lock out/tag out, PPE, fall protection, and facility safety efforts
Expectations:
- Ability to work independently which may include interrupted meal periods – Company provides paid meal periods
- Ability to stand/walk, and perform physical work such as heavy lifting, climbing (up to 12ft), bending, etc.
- Operate in varied temperature ranges
- Ability to communicate with co-workers, and management in a clear and respectful manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and coordinate various activities
- Perform other duties as assigned

Salary: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
