Echocardiographic Technologist

**Responsibilities:**

• Patient Preparation: Explains procedure to patient and gives necessary instruction, prepares patient for procedure including vital signs and attaching monitoring equipment.
• Data Collection: Reviews patient record for test indication, obtains clinical information pertinent to the test, and reviews patient EMR to verify correct order before initiating test.
• Technical Skills: Performs the appropriate assessment using patient interview, auscultation, palpation, and documents appropriate data.
