Responsibilities

Valley Behavioral Health is seeking a dynamic Outpatient Clinical Manager to come join our amazing team!

 

The Outpatient Clinical Manager provides supervision of clinical services in the designated program in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Valley Hospital and licensing for the State of Arizona.  The incumbent acts as a working manager and provides intake assessments, group and individual therapy sessions, participation in team planning, discharge planning, case management service, crisis intervention and liaison services while overseeing day-to-day operations of clinical staff and patients.  The Clinical Manager of Outpatient Services is also responsible for assisting with the hiring, orienting, and assessing the effectiveness and competency of the therapeutic staff along with directing and coordinating care and provides therapeutic treatment for patients at Valley Hospital.

 

Location:        3550 East Pinchot Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 

Schedule:        Monday - Friday

Qualifications

  1. Education:                        Master’s Degree in Social Work
  2. Experience:                         Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mental health
  3. Licensure/Certification:    AZ license as LCSW.  Must keep current with continuing education requirements for State licensure. Maintain current professional license.  Must have or be able to get privileges with the AZBBHE.  Must possess current CPR and Handle with Care certification upon hire and annually/bi-annually as required.
