Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to support fundraising efforts for the organization
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and partners
- Plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling materials and messaging for fundraising initiatives
- Manage donor stewardship activities, including acknowledgment letters and recognition programs
- Monitor and report on fundraising progress, providing regular updates to the executive team
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in fundraising and development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as nonprofit management, business, or communications)
- Proven experience in fundraising or development, preferably in a healthcare or nonprofit setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to think strategically and creatively to achieve fundraising goals
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
- Proficient in using fundraising software and databases
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in acute care, critical care, home care, nursing home, hospital, ICU, or pediatrics settings
- Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and compliance requirements
