Valley Irrigation Bookkeeper – Administrative Assistant

The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in accounting software and financial management, contributing to the efficiency of our operations. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative functions.
Full-Time position available, DOE

Bookkeeping Job Expectations
· Accounts Payable
· Process Accounts Receivable; invoice customers and process payments, process AR and wholesale applications
· Payroll Payments such as Federal and State taxes, HSA, Retirement
· Maintain and Process monthly employee payments such as Worker’s Comp & Health Insurance
· Batch Order Entries input by the Store and Management
· Assist with answering phone lines when needed
· Balance and Post Registers, prepare cash tills for Store
· Prepare Bank Deposits
· Monitor business cash flow
· Assist with inventory management; updating price changes
· Update and maintain proper records including but not limited to tax information, auto/equipment, subcontractors, etc
· Support the team with general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
· Maintain clean and clear workspace. Attention to and prioritizing organization of digital and paper files
· Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
Required Experience & Qualifications
· Microsoft Office
· Proficient and familiar with Accounting software. (PLUS if familiar with Cougar Mountain)
· Bookkeeping: 3 years (preferred)
· Accounting Degree: Preferred
· Communicate clearly and openly in both verbal and written format
· Strong time management skills
· Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting, ability to create and maintain organizational systems
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
· Mandatory background check may be performed prior to hire
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
