Position Description:
The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for interacting with patients, by phone and in person, within a busy healthcare setting while managing administrative tasks for both the clinic and the patients. This requires exhibiting great customer service skills, a friendly and approachable demeanor, and a professional attitude, as the Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact upon a patient's arrival, and often the last to see the patient before they leave the office.
Position Duties:
- Greets patients and visitors in a welcoming and professional manner.
- Manages email and voicemail messages.
- Inputs patient data in EMR
- Manages patient scheduling; communicates with patients in the waiting area of any delays or Provider schedule changes that would affect their appointment time.
- General receptionist and clerical duties
