Education:
High School Diploma, or G.E.D. equivalent
Experience:
One (1) year of experience as a stock/parts clerk, warehouse worker, materials handler in a warehouse environment. Directly related experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis
Background Investigation:
Employment is contingent upon the results of a background investigation
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid Arizona Driver's License and a safe driving record
Must obtain a forklift operator's card within three (3) months of hire
This position will typically work 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM and is eligible for 2nd shift differential pay. Successful candidates but must be available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet operational needs.The statements listed below describe the general nature and level of work only. Safety standards relative to handling hazardous chemicals and materials
Computerized recordkeeping and related data entry procedures
Standard office practices and procedures including filing and the operation of standard office equipment
Skill In:
Performing accurate receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, supplies, and equipment through a work order management system
Safety using and maintaining hand and power tools and materials handling equipment related to the work
Operating a forklift
Making accurate arithmetic calculations
Understanding and following oral and written directions
Efficiently managing time and workload including planning, prioritizing, organizing, and following through on a variety of tasks
Working with minimal supervision in standard work situations
Contributing effectively to the accomplishment of team or work unit goals
Physical Demands:
Positions in this class typically require: climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions in a warehouse setting.
Incumbent must perform heavy manual labor, strength to lift and maneuver materials and equipment up 100 pounds with the assistance of applicable equipment or other employees.
Work Environment:
Warehouse setting. Requires lifting of equipment and supplies. Exposure to extreme weather, cramped, dusty, noisy spaces.
May handle fiberglass or other dangerous materials.

- Responsible for efficient receiving and storing of supplies, tools, spare and replacement parts, and equipment used in repair and maintenance
- Monitors the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system and stockroom window to issue parts to technicians
- Receives incoming orders, unpacks materials, supplies, tools, and equipment; verifies articles received against packing lists and purchase requisitions and notes discrepancies or damaged items
- Monitors stock levels and notifies the purchasing department regarding materials and supplies
- Produces general reports using standard office equipment, including a computer in the course of performing work
- Performs physical inventories assuring completeness and quality of records
- Stores articles on designated shelves, racks, or in other storage areas; ensures storage area is clean and organized
- Maintains automated stock and inventory control records; enters and retrieves information from EAM to initial and complete shipping and receiving transactions
- Coordinates with department staff to pick up and deliver equipment, materials, or parts as needed
- Uses basic hand and power tools common to the work of the department
- May drive a motor vehicle to pick up and deliver supplies
- Packs and returns damaged, surplus or outdated materials as instructed
- Performs other duties of similar nature and level as assigned
