Valley Pacific Petroleum Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Cardlock Maintenance Specialist for our Eureka location. In this role, you will represent Valley Pacific at our regional cardlock fueling sites and provide excellent customer service over the phone. You’ll ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while upholding the company’s code of ethics and mission statement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair cardlock controls, dispensing systems, and remote tank monitoring equipment.
- Perform general and preventative maintenance to maintain the Valley Pacific image.
- Fill in for maintenance personnel as needed, ensuring seamless operations.
- Audit regulatory compliance documents, including Designated Operator, Haz-Waste and SPCC documentation and compliance signage.
- Know and maintain POS components.
- Monitor cardlock facilities remotely, and direct maintenance personnel to address technical issues and repairs.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to Renner / Valley Pacific card accounts.
- Implement established security protocols to minimize fraud.
- Check email, text message and phone communication regularly and respond promptly.
- Manage and track Haz-Waste disposal from cardlocks and bulk plant facilities.
- Be on call to respond to emergencies or accidents during nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others.
- Remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
- Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.
- ICC certifications for Designated Operator and Repair Technician are a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Pay range from $17-$25 per hour depending on experience.
