Position Overview
As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, tracking sales transactions, and overseeing intercompany transfers. This is a hands-on role that involves working directly with tanks, hoses, meters, drums, pails, and various lube products. You will also ensure that safety protocols are strictly followed in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Monitor and track daily lube inventory based on sales transactions and intercompany transfers.
✔ Procure goods in alignment with company inventory models to maintain optimal stock levels.
✔ Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies while maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills
✅ Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
✅ Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
✅ Previous experience in inventory control or a similar role.
✅ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
✅ Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis tools.
✅ Strong background in data analysis to optimize inventory performance.
✅ Excellent math and counting skills to ensure inventory accuracy.
✅ Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record.
✅ Forklift certification or experience, with knowledge of safety protocols.
✅ Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
✅ Experience in the petroleum industry (handling lubricants and related products) is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
💲 Pay: $17.75 - $26.00 per hour (based on experience), with potential to earn up to $64,000 annually.
