Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations for a financial advisor and tax office, handling processes from start to finish. This position requires strong attention to detail, customer service capability, and proficiency in various administrative tasks.
Duties
- Completing and processing custodian paperwork
- Working with clients to complete rollovers of retirement plan accounts
- Fielding client requests for money movements
- Basic bookkeeping data entries
- Basic data entry in tax software ProConnect
- Scanning paper documents and digitally organizing the files
- Assisting tax & accounting professionals by reaching out to clients for requested documents
- Assist with other items as necessary
Experience
- Proven experience in an administrative or operations support role is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in accounting software is desirable, but not required
- Excellent communication skills
