What You’ll Do:
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be the heart of our patient experience, supporting clients through their aesthetic journey from consultation to recovery. Your responsibilities will include:
- Patient Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for aesthetic surgery clients, guiding them through preoperative planning and postoperative care.
- Insurance Expertise: Manage in-network and out-of-network insurance authorizations for reconstructive procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the approval process.
- Scheduling: Coordinate surgical dates, preoperative consultations, and follow-up appointments across multiple clinic locations.
- Education & Support: Educate patients about procedures, post-op care, and recovery timelines. Address any questions or concerns with compassion and professionalism.
- Travel: Drive to different clinics to meet with patients, assist surgeons, and maintain continuity of care.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain detailed records, process paperwork, and ensure compliance with all medical and legal standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in a patient care coordination or similar role, preferably in a plastic surgery or aesthetic medical practice.
- Proven experience with insurance authorizations, including in-network and out-of-network claims.
- Previous direct patient care experience a plus
- Skills:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel to multiple clinic locations as needed.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures in plastic surgery and aesthetics.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
