Job Title: Worship Experience Ministry Assistant
Accountable to: Worship Experience Team Lead

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Worship Experience
- 10-15 hours a week dedicated to the Worship Experience Team Leader
- Assist in coordinating and schedule meetings, team and volunteer communications
- Assist in tasks and deliverables for Christmas and Easter Point Teams and keep meeting notes
- Assist in department meetings, scheduling rooms, and follow up on deliverables and deadlines
- Assist with emails, and correspondence with other teams and volunteers
- Assist in onboarding of worship team volunteers and continued development and next steps
- Assist Worship Experience Lead in projects, Hospitality, and communication
Communications
- Assist with projects with CMS (Church Media Squad)
- Assist with metrics and scheduling for online services and social media
- Assist in scheduling and follow up for video production
- Assist in organizing Videography Team Nights and communication
- Assist in Videography file and data management and organization
- Updating team calendar for organization of service elements, comms elements.
Guest Experience
- Assist in Café supplies and ordering
- Assist with planning center scheduling and communication
- Assist in service preparation for Guest Experience Lead
- Assist in ordering supplies for Christmas, Easter, Communion, Bibles, New Guest Gifts
- Assist in planning and scheduling and communication for guest experience events
- Assist in special service promotions (Pizza, Donuts, Giveaways)
Production
- Assist in organizing projects, priority and deadline
- Assist in communication, scheduling, and Hospitality of team meetings
- Assist in speaker content and input for services
- Assist in ordering supplies, equipment maintenance, budget.
- Assist in organizing equipment and keeping spaces clean and tidy
- Assist with onboarding, next steps, and volunteer care and pastoring scheduling
- Assist in organization of outside events and volunteer coverage for Audio/Video needs

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Years of Experience: 1-3 years’ experience
- Education Required: HS Diploma experience
- Major/Minor/Skills: Education relating to field of expertise, Fluent in computer skills, Microsoft office suite, and Planning Center, High-level skills in written and verbal communication
- Management/Supervisor Experiences: Preferred experience leading volunteers
- Budget Oversight: No
EXPECTATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Attend VRL church services on a regular basis.
- Have attended a DNA class, signed a membership form and be in missional alignment with VRL.
- Currently serving in a ministry at VRL.
- Committed to regular giving of income to God through VRL.
- Attend monthly All Staff meeting and participate in department meetings or other meetings when requested to do so.
- Work in close association with the entire staff to build and maintain a strong team environment among our staff and complete the work necessary to fully serve and support the ministries and events of Valley Real Life. Possess a helpful, cheerful, diplomatic, and caring servant attitude to all.
- Strong working knowledge of computers and proficiency in software programs including Microsoft applications (Outlook, Publisher, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), database systems (Rock), scheduling systems (Planning Center) and use of the Internet.
- Ability to recognize own limits and embrace the expertise of other staff and resources.
- Be coachable, humble, hungry, and smart.
