Designing Solar PV and Energy Storage Systems
At Valley Solar LLC, we are seeking an experienced Senior Solar PV and Energy Storage Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage systems for our clients. Your expertise in energy modeling, battery energy storage system design, electrical design, and risk assessment will enable us to deliver high-quality designs that meet technical and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
* Develop comprehensive designs for solar PV and energy storage systems for residential and commercial clients.
* Use industry-leading tools to design and simulate solar PV and storage systems.
* Collaborate with the sales team, project managers, and installation teams to deliver well-designed, install-ready solutions.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* NABCEP PV Design Specialist or NABCEP PV Installation Professional certification.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in designing solar PV and battery energy storage systems.
