Job Overview
Valley View Chapel is a growing family-oriented and Bible-believing church focused on leading individuals through relationships to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
We are currently seeking an experienced office manager to join our team in this part-time position, reporting directly to the Lead Pastor.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as primary receptionist, providing a warm welcome to visitors and guests.
- Manage the office environment, including related equipment and supplies, ensuring a safe and efficient workspace.
- Maintain the church database and provide reports as needed, utilizing data to inform decision-making and drive growth.
- Manage the office budget, including record keeping and invoicing, with attention to detail and financial responsibility.
- Process financial requests and assist with distribution of giving and other financial records, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
- Provide administrative support to church staff, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- Collaborate with the Lead Pastor to oversee digital and print communications, including but not limited to bulletins, newsletters, brochures, flyers, signage, and an annual report.
- Manage facility use requests and liaise with those using the building, ensuring smooth and respectful use of church facilities.
- Assist staff and volunteers with event planning and execution, contributing to the success of church events and programs.

- Organized with strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

- Highly competent with digital media and related tools, including proficiency with standard computer applications and a willingness to learn and adopt new tools as needed.
- Skilled in graphic design and digital publishing, with expertise in necessary tools and software.
Working Conditions
This is an on-site position, requiring local candidates who can work from the church location. Hourly wage will be commensurate with experience, reflecting the individual's level of skill and qualifications.
