Description
We are looking for a highly capable IT Project Engineer to provide technical assistance to our staff. In this role, your duties will include ensuring optimal use of our hardware and software technologies, enhancing system performance, and securing data. You will also be required to advise on IT equipment upgrades, as well as configure Servers, Network Systems, and Firewalls. Other duties include maintaining and expanding when needed facility cable infrastructure (running, connecting, and terminating cables), assisting with other duties as needed or assigned by the Director of IT. To ensure success as an IT Project Engineer, you should possess experience in providing information technology support in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. IT Project Engineer contributes to increased productivity by ensuring that company IT systems run efficiently.
Individual must possess (as a minimum) an associate degree in computer science, information technology or similar. Experience desired managing Microsoft Windows OS, Office 365, Linux and Microsoft Share Point. Experience pulling, terminating and working with different cable types (network Cat5e/Cat6, Video, Audio, Coaxial, etc.) highly preferred.
