Valley View Hospital is seeking a Facilities Operations and Maintenance Manager to perform diversified duties involved in managing functions and activities that pertain to the Engineering Department. Duties include coordinating and monitoring the activities of the Facilities Operations and Maintenance employees and functions; assisting maintenance and operations department staff in the completion of daily repairs, preventative maintenance, and projects; and monitoring staff performance, departmental metrics analysis and budget.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent; Technical/trade school or college degree preferred
- Technical and troubleshooting skills required
- Must be knowledgeable about local, state, and federal regulatory agencies and associated guidelines (FGI, OSHA, NFPA, UBC, EPA, and JCAHO)
- Management experience in facilities maintenance field highly preferred.
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Ability to manage employees and department operations
- Ability to plan, organize, coordinate and control multiple projects
- Ability to interpret blueprint drawings and sketches
- Ability to provide technical advice to tradespersons
- Experience managing projects
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with all facility personnel and other business professionals
- Composition of general correspondence using appropriate grammar and writing style
SALARY
- $71,000.00 - $103,900/year
- Starting wage dependent upon education, skill-set, and experience.
