Shadowing Opportunities
Valley View offers job shadow opportunities to those who complete the requirements and speak with a Human Recourse representative prior to scheduling a shadow opportunity. Number of hours depend on department availability.

Located between Aspen and Vail, along the Colorado River, Glenwood Springs is a mecca for outdoor adventures in our beautiful mountains. When you are looking to relax, we also have the largest hot springs pool in the world. As a community with a population of about 10,000, Glenwood Springs is an ideal size.

Requirements
- Complete the attached shadow paperwork
- Complete a TB test with public health (phone number (970) 945-6614.)
- Email a copy of TB test results and a current flu shoot record to Valley View at shadowing@vvh.org
- Send a copy of driver’s license
- Check in with Human Resources at Valley View the day prior to shadowing to pick up ID badge.
- Dress professionally and in accordance with the dress code shared by your host.
- Bring a notepad and pen so you can jot down names, notes and questions.
- Arrive 10-15 minutes early.
- Keep your cell phone muted so that you can give your undivided attention to what you are learning.
- Be prepared to sign HIPAA agreement forms requested by Valley, and then keep the details of what you hear, see and learn confidential.
