New, independent-owned, cannabis dispensary in Central NJ is seeking a Home Delivery Driver / Budtender to join our Team!
In order to drive a company vehicle, a clean driving record is required and will be confirmed before employment offer is finalized.
Applicants will need to be willing to work a flexible schedule as needed. This is a customer-facing position, excellent customer service skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Safely, timely, and compliantly deliver cannabis products to customers home
- ---Assist in preparing orders for delivery
- ---Verify all delivery recipient IDs for age verification
- ---Log transactions as needed
- Use delivery tracking GPS software to maintain constant communication with dispensary
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during interactions with customers and patients
- Ensure accurate order fulfillment and accurately manage inventory for each delivery
- Assist in maintaining delivery vehicle
- ---Keep vehicle clean
- ---Report vehicle / mechanical issues as they arise
- ---Take vehicle for routine and preventative maintenance as directed
- Adhere to all state and local regulations regarding cannabis delivery
- Adhere to company SOPs and policies regarding cannabis delivery
Requirements
- Valid drivers license and clean drivers record
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to perform POS transactions.
- Ability to check and enter patient allotments in NJ CRC portal
- Ability to use software tracking and delivery management tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in delivery role
- Familiarity with local routes
- Knowledge of products offered, benefits and effects
