Valley-Wide Health Systems is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to play a pivotal role in our financial operations. If you excel in processing invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring timely payments, we want to hear from you!
What Youll Do:
- Process accounts payable functions, including invoice verification and check requests.
- Handle daily correspondence, maintain organized records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Set up new vendors, manage W-9 forms, and prepare annual 1099s.
- Perform A/P check runs, reconcile accounts, and address discrepancies.
- Process ACH transfers and maintain accurate records during coverage for the Accounting Clerk.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve payment issues efficiently.
What You Bring:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 3 years in bookkeeping or accounting, with a solid grasp of accounts payable.
- Skills: Accuracy, attention to detail, multi-tasking, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel expertise preferred).
- Bonus: Experience with computerized accounting software.
- Requirements: A valid Colorado drivers license and insurability under the agencys fleet insurance.
