At Valley, we require our Medical Assistant team to be friendly, professional, outgoing, proactive, and able to deal with stressful situations on the fly. Come be part of our awesome MA team!
Our American Fork group is looking to hire a full time medical assistant. You will be working 4 full days a week to get a minimum of 30 hours a week.
You will not be required to work weekends or major holidays!
Job description/requirements:
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must have a current CNA or MA license.
- You must be willing to travel to all 3 of our locations - American Fork, Lehi, Saratoga Springs
- Must be able to work full days. Hours are 8am-5:30pm. Our clinic is only open Monday through Friday.
- Must be able to give a one year commitment to the position
- Hourly wage dependent on clinical experience
Basic job duties:
- Assist Doctor/NP/CNMs in clinic seeing patients- by obtaining patient weight, blood pressure, and medical history.
- Assisting with in office procedures such as IUD insertions, colposcopies, Nexplanon insertions and pap smears.
- Must have good communication skills, organization and patient care.
- Must be able to multitask, and enjoy working in a busy clinic.
