What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Social Worker - Patient & Family Services - Float position at valleychildrens?
This position is accountable for meeting the psychosocial
needs of patients and families through clinical assessment, crisis
intervention, brief therapy, case consultation with the healthcare team and
collaboration with other professionals in the community. Mental Health interventions, including 5150 evaluations, are an
essential component of the service provision. Eligible for 5150 certification via Madera County Behavioral Health is required. This position will be crossing over multiple departments as needed and will be part time, 24 hours per week.
