Entry Level Tree Ground Worker "Groundie"

Overview
Do you have an interest in climbing trees professionally? There is no better place to start than doing ground work. In this position, there will be ample opportunities to learn the in's and out's of aerial tree work. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundworker to join our team.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining landscapes, performing tree care, and ensuring the overall aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for working outdoors.

Qualifications

• Punctual and shows up ready to work
• Positive attitude
• Enjoys or prefers working outside in all conditions
• Interested in trees and tree care methods
• Physically adept and ready to drag brush, rake piles, etc.
• Willing and ready to learn higher level tree maintenance operations

Responsibilities

• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and operated according to safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Follow all safety protocols while working on-site to ensure personal and team safety.
• Maintain a clean and tidy worksite.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating equipment is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
