A little about us, Valleyview Injury Physical Medicine has Medical, Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, Acupuncture and Massage Therapy staff all working together in one convenient location.

 Position Summary:

As the Front Desk/Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients entering the clinic, so it is expected that you will present yourself in a professional manner that positively represents our company.

This position is responsible for supporting the daily operation of the clinic and ensuring optimal patient experience. Having the highest level of customer service is a requirement. Positive communication with providers, colleagues, leadership and established or potential patients who contact the clinic is essential for success in this role.

In this role, you will be patient facing and require a high level of organization and multitasking skills. It is also preferred that you have experience working in a multidisciplinary clinical setting.

Your role will be welcoming patients into the office, answering phones, scheduling according to provider’s treatment plans, collecting payments, filing paperwork, various administrative duties and creating a remarkable patient experience.

Bilingual Language:

·        Spanish (Preferred)

·        Russian/Ukrainian (Preferred)

Performance Objectives:

·        Experience with MVA/Work Comp/Major medical insurance is required.

·        Schedule new patients as well as follow up appointments based on provider’s recommended treatment plans.

·        Prepare waiting room and facilities for patient arrival and end of day to set the next day up for success.

·        Greet and manage new patient intake which includes creating a comfortable environment, check-in, paperwork completion and verification, collecting all payment, document scanning and updating patient information (insurance, ID, etc.) in our electronic medical records system, ChiroTouch.

·        Ensure all patients are appropriately processed at the end of treatment.

·        Maintain charts in an orderly fashion and ensure accuracy in a timely manner.

·        Answer incoming calls and make cold calls while taking notes or messages.

·        Educate the patient on the services provided in the clinic.

·        Consistently offer the highest level of personalized customer service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, and helpful attitude

Education & Experience:

·        High School diploma required.

·        2-3 years’ work experience in reception, sales, customer service or related field preferred.

·        Experience in a multi-physician practice preferred.

·        Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Russian highly preferred.

Position schedule:

·       Monday to Friday, Full-time

·       Varied schedule based on business needs.

·       8-hour shift, varied schedule based on business needs

·       Business hours 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Salary:

·       Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

·        Gresham, OR 97080: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Location:

·       On site Monday – Friday (no work from home option available)

Education:

·        Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

·        Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)

·        Medical reception: 2 years (Preferred)

·        Computer skills: 3 years (Required)

·        Scheduling: 2 years (Preferred)
